Lord Krishna says “Among the serpents I am Ananta.” Ananta is the infinite divine snake with its endless coils floating in the waters of creation. The snake is revered in Indian mythology and culture and is worshiped by Hindu’s. It is not seen as evil but a divinity representing eternity and symbolizes the three processes of creation, being creation, preservation and destruction.
